WHAT CAN ONE PERSON DO?
It's easy to become discouraged when you see all of the red states on a map of the US, but HuffPost reporter Catherine Pearson said, "The good news is that we're in the majority." This can be said by workers at any company where they outnumber management, and by blue voters who won the Popular Vote by 2.8 million votes.
Our strength lies in our organization. An opponent who is outnumbered will try to divide the other side and, ideally turn them against each other. But Bernie Sanders said:
"We will lose our fights for justice when we are divided or apathetic, and the fights we face now are far too important to risk that."

BE INFORMED
1. Find your Legislator's phone number and email.
2. Hold them accountable. Follow them on Facebook and Twitter, they will usually announce when important bills are up for a vote.
3. You can also search the LIS Subject Index for Labor-, Transportation- or Hampton Roads-related bills.
